My journey into photography started in 4th grade in Mr. Morrison’s class, where I first declared I wanted to be a photographer when I grew up. I was inspired by my dad, a steelworker by day who spent his weekends pursuing an artistic passion, lugging lights and cameras to school dances and church banquets. He taught me that professional photography isn’t just about the gear, it’s about the service and the person behind the lens.
After getting my start at a Sears Portrait Studio in 2008, I moved to Nashville to refine my craft, graduating from Nossi College of Art in 2011. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of shooting for iconic brands like Kirkland’s Home Decor, Tractor Supply Company, and Judith Bright Jewelry.
My perspective on the power of a portrait shifted in 2014, when I spent a year in Ethiopia documenting the life-changing work at CURE International Children’s Hospital. That experience taught me how to make anyone, regardless of the setting, feel seen, comfortable, and valued in front of a camera.
In 2023, I took a leap of faith, leaving the coffee shop world to launch Headshots Co. full-time. Today, when I’m not bringing my mobile studio to corporate offices across Middle Tennessee, I’m a husband of eight years and a father to three energetic kids under the age of six.
If you visit my home, you’ll likely find me at my full-service coffee bar. Espresso is my other great obsession, and I bring that same level of precision and craft to every headshot I take.
